FINSUDPROM provides consulting services to Russian shipyards in the area of project financing, project management and marketing in relation to design and serial construction of vessels, yachts, and boats with a displacement of up to 2,500 tons, as well as with their complex year-round maintenance and repairs. In addition, the group has been involved in programs for modernization of inland waterways in Russia.
Passenger fleet and yachts
In the course of implementing FINSUDPROM’s program aimed at passenger riverboats construction, FINSUDPROM’s partner shipyards have launched serial construction of a new class of river yacht-catamarans class-named "Otrada"; furthermore, other types of passenger ships and yachts have been designed making them available for construction. "Otrada" yachts are comfortable river yachts with exclusive interior design and a hull styled for wheeled steamers of the XIX century, matching all the characteristics of a reliable long-distance cruise vessel.
The aluminum hull allowed to reduce the draft to 0.8 meters making the yacht suitable for shallow water; bow and stern thrusters provide excellent maneuverability; bow and stern anchors guarantee a safe anchorage far away from the bank. The yacht is equipped with modern satnav, radio and electrical equipment ensuring safe and comfortable navigation in any weather conditions, day and night.
Shipyard project
The technological design of the new "Western Shipyard" (Kaliningrad region) has been developed by IMG (Germany). The modern shipyard project is intended to occupy an area of about 14 hectares and will be able to build up to 6 medium-sized fishing vessels being 60-70 meters long, and up to 2 large fishing vessels being maximum 115 meters long, per year. Technological solutions and internal logistics of the shipyard are designed to ensure that such vessels can be built simultaneously. In addition, a dry dock with 230 meters of length and 38 meters of width will allow to build cargo ships up to 180 meters long.
Production planning suggests that the shipyard would serially build large-capacity fishing vessels and offering package solutions to its customers: project selection, vessel construction and assistance in arranging bank financing. The shipyard project implementation program is currently under review with the focus on additional investment solutions.
