The essential group's activities are related to the implementation of various environmental protection projects and projects in the field of processing of municipal solid waste (MSW).

The group has accumulated considerable experience in engineering, construction, organization and management of municipal and industrial waste processing in various major cities of Russia and CIS countries. Our experts have designed, engineered and supervised, until built and commissioned, more than 20 waste-processing facilities for MSW sorting, pressing and briquetting.

The group’s experts always target environment safety, maximum recycling and use of best technologies for waste management available worldwide as the priorities in project development.

Design and construction of MSW sorting and processing facilities imply the need for using both, the imported equipment and available Russian-made components, machinery and equipment. In the implementation of its industrial development strategy, the group maintains contacts and business relations with the leading regional waste management operators who are in charge of MSW collecting, transporting, sorting and recycling.

One of the promising areas of the group’s activities is mobile document shredding service, primarily aimed to paper archives with expired storage period. Documents are shredded at the customer’s site by specialized vehicle using high-tech equipment ensuring a high level of confidentiality.

FINSUDPROM provides consulting services to Russian shipyards in the area of project financing, project management and marketing in relation to design and serial construction of vessels, yachts, and boats with a displacement of up to 2,500 tons, as well as with their complex year-round maintenance and repairs. In addition, the group has been involved in programs for modernization of inland waterways in Russia.

Passenger fleet and yachts

In the course of implementing FINSUDPROM’s program aimed at passenger riverboats construction, FINSUDPROM’s partner shipyards have launched serial construction of a new class of river yacht-catamarans class-named "Otrada"; furthermore, other types of passenger ships and yachts have been designed making them available for construction. "Otrada" yachts are comfortable river yachts with exclusive interior design and a hull styled for wheeled steamers of the XIX century, matching all the characteristics of a reliable long-distance cruise vessel.

The aluminum hull allowed to reduce the draft to 0.8 meters making the yacht suitable for shallow water; bow and stern thrusters provide excellent maneuverability; bow and stern anchors guarantee a safe anchorage far away from the bank. The yacht is equipped with modern satnav, radio and electrical equipment ensuring safe and comfortable navigation in any weather conditions, day and night.

Shipyard project

The technological design of the new "Western Shipyard" (Kaliningrad region) has been developed by IMG (Germany). The modern shipyard project is intended to occupy an area of about 14 hectares and will be able to build up to 6 medium-sized fishing vessels being 60-70 meters long, and up to 2 large fishing vessels being maximum 115 meters long, per year. Technological solutions and internal logistics of the shipyard are designed to ensure that such vessels can be built simultaneously. In addition, a dry dock with 230 meters of length and 38 meters of width will allow to build cargo ships up to 180 meters long.

Production planning suggests that the shipyard would serially build large-capacity fishing vessels and offering package solutions to its customers: project selection, vessel construction and assistance in arranging bank financing. The shipyard project implementation program is currently under review with the focus on additional investment solutions.

From 2010 to 2016 with FINSUDPROM´s consulting and project management support, its business partners participated in the implementation of the Program for development of the transportation system in Russia, by manufacturing and supplying various heavy mechanical engineering and metalworks products for inland waterways facilities, such as:

- river gates for Uglich hydroelectric complex (metalwork weight approx. 190 t.);
- various large-size metalworks for hydroelectric complexes Faustovo, Severka, Andreevka, Trudkommuna;
- gate shutters for Kuzminski hydroelectric complex (metalwork weight approx. 1100 t.);
- various metalworks for Rybinsk hydroelectric complex (approx. 260 t.);
- various metalworks for Beloomut hydroelectric complex (approx. 570 t.);
- various metalworks for an oil refinery facility located in Tomsk.
